St. Marteen was the island we stopped in on Thursday. At first, the day was very rainy and it didn't look like it would clear up. However, after an hour or so, it finally stopped raining. This was our favorite island on the whole trip. We all took a water taxi to the downtown area and spent the morning shopping. Afterwards, Geo and the two grandmas returned to the ship while Ben & Vanessa, Brenda & Junior went to the beach and rented Jet skies. They all had lunch at the beach restaurant where we tasted the local beer and food.
