We apologize for not keeping up with the blog in the last couple of months. Our two boys have kept us very busy and Vanessa usually only gets to the blog once every-other week. So to make up for the lack of posts, we wanted to give you a general update of what we have been up to. It can be summarize in one word- routine. We have pretty much been following our routine of going to work, home and church.
The kids are doing very well. Geo now falls asleep in his own bed by himself! Yippee!! After a month of us taking turns staying in Geo's bed until he fell asleep, it is a huge relief. We just give him a sippy cup with water for the night, we turn on his sleep playlist on our iPod and turn off the light. We then give him a kiss and say "night, night!". Geo responds- "Night, night! Love you!". The door closes and he falls asleep. We are excited that we can now watch a movie at night and have some adult time.
Tzui is starting to teeth. Yes, he is an early teether just like Geovanee. He has been waking up more frequently and that can be challenging. Tzui is rolling from back to tummy and vice versa. He is also almost at the point of crawling. He now gets on all fours and craddles back and forth. All he needs is the courage to go! It is amazing how much faster is doing things than Geovanee. Geo didn't really start crawling until almost a year. Tzui is way ahead of that. He also is starting to eat fruit shakes and he loves them. Very good eater!
Work is going well and we love carpooling! We have started going to a women's and men's group called Miles Christi. Vanessa goes on Mondays and Ben goes on Thursday nights. We basically gather together and read the following Sunday's gospel and a reflection on that gospel. We really appreciate it and it is one of the only times Ben and I get some quiet time for personal meditation and learning more about our faith.
All in all, we are very healthy, happy and blessed!
Hope this gives a clearer picture of our life at the moment.
