Yes, it was time for Geovanee to get his first haircut. Some would say that it was a little overdue but Ben and Vanessa could not part with those cute curls of Geo. Yesterday we stopped by a place specializing in cuts for kids and Geo experienced his first haircut. Geo sat on the chair and Vanessa tried to entertain him by blowing bubbles. But that technique only worked for 30 seconds. As soon as he felt strange hands touching him, he freaked out and started to cry. He pretty much cried for the whole thing and our attempts to distract him failed. But the end result has been that Geo looks great with his new do and we still manage to keep some of his cute curls.
